Question for:

In grocery stores, gross weight refers to the weight of food and its packaging. Net weight refers to the weight of just the food. What is the term for the weight, sometimes also called unladen weight, of the packaging and/or any additional weight that's not the food, like a cheese rind, for which the customer is normally not charged?
